2008 Celebration of Life Awards

Whittier Rio Hondo AIDS Project’s annual awards gala serves to honor individuals who have showed significant service and dedication to WRHAP’s mission and community at the Friendly Hills Country Club in Whittier. Current honorees include Macy's, Richard Espinosa, and Bruce Bergthold. Previous honorees include Doris Wahl, Michael Weinstein, Rev. Gina Chapman, Supervisor Don Knabe, Dr. John D. McCarthy, Jim Shepard of the B.C. McCabe Fund, and Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital. Held in one of the area's most scenic country clubs, Celebration of Life includes an awards dinner and a silent auction. Awards include the Christopher Wahl Award, the Doris Wahl Founder’s Award, and the Corporate Partner Award.
